Scouting in Haref Ardeh

Children and young people from 7 years old grow through adventure, service and friendship.

01 · Heritage

Generations under the cedars

Since the 1950s, the children of Haref Ardeh have learned to pitch a tent, read a map and look out for one another. Today, a new generation is on the trail.

03 · Adventures

What scouts do

Every meeting is a small expedition. Children learn by doing, in small teams, outdoors whenever they can.

  • Camps under the cedars

Nights under canvas, songs around the fire and the pride of a camp built with your own hands.

  • Hikes and expeditions

From village paths to the trails of Mount Lebanon: a map, a compass and a good pair of boots.

  • Serving the village

Clean-ups, help for neighbours and community projects, one good turn at a time.

  • The scout band

Drums and bugles that open ceremonies and parades in Haref Ardeh.

  • Skills for life

Knots, first aid, cooking outdoors and leading a team.

  • Friendships for life

Small patrols where everyone has a place, a role and friends to count on.

  • Promise and ceremonies

Milestones that mark each step, from the first promise to new responsibilities.
